Care for Carers

If you have been diagnosed with Chronic disease it is clear you have a journey in front of you and it can be very helpful, if not imperative to have a personal carer, a good friend to hold your hand along the way… Someone who is really there for you. Obviously a partner, living with you is the best option, someone who knows you well and someone who has love for you can be of enormous support.

However who is going to be there for them ? Who cares for your carer ??

Here at the Arcturus Centre we are set up to Care for the Carers. We understanding their needs, have experience in dealing with the fears and offer the depth of information and emotional and practical support that can make all the difference.

As adopting the general health cultivation principles and practices is an essential foundation for re- establishing sustainable health for the patient. It can be really helpful if the carer can adopt these practices as well by eating similar foods, taking some foundational supplements and by receiving some form of therapy or health support from a practitioner who can ‘hold a space’ from them too.

Researching information and establishing protocols can also be a daunting prospect for someone newly diagnosed so again a dedicated carer who can take primary responsibility for these areas can be central in sorting the wheat from the chaff and coming to clear decisions and plans of action.

So an individual consultation with one of our experienced team of therapists for your carer is an important step for building the support necessary for a successful outcome.

Many thanks
