Dr Stephen Hopwood M.B.ChB Lic.Ac (M.B.Ac.C)

Dr. Stephen Hopwood is a Holistic Physician, having qualified in 1986 with a degree in medicine from Bristol University. He has worked as an NHS hospital doctor and as an NHS General Practitioner.
Dr. Hopwood has studied acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in China (1983) and the U.K. and has been registered with the British Acupuncture Council since 1989.  He has studied traditional Chinese herbal medicine, modern nutritional therapy and the use of vitamins and minerals as dietary supplements.  In his clinical practice he combines the use of contemporary health advice with supportive counselling.
Dr Hopwood has two sons, lives on Dartmoor and spends his leisure time mountain-biking and practising Tai Chi. He has a passion for modern politics and a close relationship with the rest of his family who live locally.

After raising her children, Sue Johns qualified in gentle whole body manipulation in 1991. With a friend she started the Nailsworth Natural Health Centre in Gloucestershire where she worked for 16 years until she moved to Plymouth in 2007.

She started training in Zero Balancing in 1998 and after qualifying she undertook further training to become a teacher of Zero Balancing in 2005. As well as her work with individuals, she teaches Zero Balancing and courses that she is developing on the form and significance of the pelvis and shoulders.

Graeme as a mature student, graduated 1998 after five years full-time study at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic accredited by University of Portsmouth with a Master of Science Chiropractic. Gaining a post graduate Diploma in Chiropractic and then an Honorary Doctor of Chiropractic in 2002, Graeme was elected to the College of Chiropractors as Tamar Faculty academic programme organiser and post graduate regional lecturer for 2005-2007. Graeme is also a clinical author, having written and published “The A System” for all musculoskeletal new graduates, which included other professional titles such as osteopathy and physiotherapy.
