How the intervention is applied by the therapist

Colon Hydrotherapy

Feeling tired and run-down? Heavily bloated or suffering from constipation, diarrhoea, IBS? If you feel like your digestive discomfort is affecting your health and day to day life, then you owe it to yourself to learn about the benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy – a treatment that has been utilized by cultures for thousands of years. This gentle cleansing therapy involves the use of warm water introduced into the colon to help in seven key areas: providing relief from stagnation, rehydrating the bowel, repairing the gut wall, replacing digestants and balancing the bowel flora, rebuilding the gut-brain connection, restoring bowel function and re-educating the owner of the bowel.

All these elements are interconnected, allowing for a three-dimensional picture of physical, emotional and energetic changes that Colon Hydrotherapy can bring. So, if you feel like it’s time to take charge of your digestive health, give this therapy a try!

Personal information:

Growing up on a diversified livestock farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my 2 siblings and some unique pets (including a flying squirrel and duck named Put Put!) was an amazing childhood. It afforded me the chance to learn about farm life, gardening, fishing and hunting, as well exploring nature and cultivating a strong sense of responsibility. After studying Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana, I got to work with the US Forest Service and was part of their Wildlife and Fisheries Unit, collecting data that would eventually contribute to the successful reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park. My career experiences also included non-profit work, including coral reef restoration and international maternal/child health programmes. However, in 2012 I made the difficult decision to leave corporate life as a product development manager and focus on my health and well-being. In the years that followed, I experienced some health struggles, but those difficulties led me to study Naturopathic Nutrition and take up Colon Hydrotherapy. I’ve since attained a diploma in Menopause Wellness, and I’m committed to continuous study. Above all, I’ve found working with clients one-to-one to be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience: one that allows me to help people overcome health issues and improve their well-being and quality of life.
